What is Theme?
I’ve made some puzzles that don’t really belong in the standard puzzle archive. They’re puzzles that have wildly different shapes and sizes, or can only be solved by certain people. These grab bags of puzzles all fall under certain themes, shown here.
Hourly Comic Day
Like a few hundred other people, I took part in “Hourly Comic Day,” which involved making a simple comic every hour possible on February 1st. I made a puzzle every hour to accompany each comic, in the form of one of my “Autocrossword” puzzles.
Brown Puzzles
Occasionally, the puzzles I made while at Brown involved some campus-specific knowledge. It seemed unfair to leave these puzzles amid the standard archives, but I didn’t want to omit them entirely. So, they ended up in this section here.
Puzzle Pentathlon
I made a set of 5 tricky puzzles related to the Beijing Summer Olympics when they started. The answer to each is a 5 letter word. I still need to add the final puzzle that uses those 5 words.
